We stayed in some pretty fabulous places during this vacation. The first one was the Villa Mandarine in Rabat. Beautiful grounds and flowers.

A little too cold for swimming.

We next moved to the Riad Salem Fes in Fes, Morocco. This was by far my favorite.

Next was the Kasbah Xaluca Maadid in Efroud, We spend one night there before spending the night in the desert. The ceiling is all painted cedar.

Next up was the camp in the Sahara in Merzouga. Very rustic but comfortable and cold. Probably won’t have been cold if they showed us how to turn on the propane heater.

After spending the night in the desert we were treated to the beautiful Riad Ksar Ighnda.

Our next stop was the seaside town of Essaquira. We stayed in another Rijad, Hotel Dar L’Oussia

Finally on to Casablanca for our last two nights at the Kenzi Tower Hotel. Because Peggy and I are staying an extra night because our flights were cancelled he got us upgraded to a room with a view of the ocean and mosque.
