Finally some retail therapy. Our first stop was at a glass factory where they did both blown and fired glass. Gorgeous chandeliers (think Chihuly). Of course, I bought earrings. Four pair.

Next stop was a faculty that they make silver filigree. What an intricate process this was! I certainly understood why the jewelry was so expensive after watching how it was made.

Behind these factories were a villages of shops but no way was our guide going to alter the schedule so we could spend more time shopping.
